Compost Products and Uses

Birch Airfield Composting Services produces compost in 3 grades :
            Agricultural – up to 32mm
            Garden & landscape – up to 10mm
            Fine soil grade – up to 5mm 

This compost has many uses. Here are a few examples of compost being used in the East of England.

	Agriculture... Compost being used to improve soils at Gable Farm in Suffolk as part of WRAP and ReMaDe Essex trials to promote the benefits of compost use in agriculture.
Landscaping... Compost produced by Tree Fella Plc is now purchased on a regular basis by a large number of local landscaping contractors.
	Sports Turf... ReMaDe Essex successfully demonstrating the benefits of using compost to improve the greens at Ufford Park golf course in Suffolk.
Topsoil... Topsoil blending at Dansand Quarry in South Essex as part of WRAP and ReMaDe Essex work to promote the benefits of using compost and other recyclable materials in topsoil manufacture.
